ArtQuest

Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 14, 2026

ArtQuest (“we,” “us”) is a community art practice app. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Plain language on purpose.

Information we collect

  • Account info — email and authentication details when you sign up or sign in (handled by our auth provider, Supabase).
  • Profile — username, optional title, and optional profile picture you choose to upload.
  • Quest activity — quests you accept, daily check-in photos of your artwork, journal entries, and completion history.
  • Community content — posts, reflections (comments), and reactions you share in the Hall / Art spaces.
  • Device permissions — camera and photo library access only when you take or upload artwork (iOS permission prompts).
  • Technical basics — standard server logs needed to run and secure the service (for example, approximate request timing). We do not sell advertising profiles.

How we use it

  • Run ArtQuest: accounts, quests, check-ins, journals, and community features.
  • Show your profile and shared art to other travelers when you post publicly in-app.
  • Keep the service reliable, secure, and free of abuse.
  • Respond to support requests you send us.

Where it’s stored

App data is stored with Supabase (database, auth, and file storage). The website and API are hosted on Vercel. The iOS app may load ArtQuest over a secure connection to our production site.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us operate ArtQuest (such as hosting and authentication), when required by law, or to protect the safety of our users and the service.

Your choices

  • Update profile details and uploads inside the app.
  • Delete or avoid posting community content you do not want public in-app.
  • Delete your account anytime in the app under Profile → Delete account.
  • Or request account / data deletion via the Support page.

Children

ArtQuest is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes

We may update this policy as ArtQuest grows. We’ll revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
